Bunions: Bony, often painful humps at the base of the big toe

Corns and calluses: Thick, hard, dead areas of skin usually found on pressure points of the foot

Cysts: Bulging, sac-like structures that are filled with pus or liquid

Foot and ankle arthritis: Inflammation of the small joints in the foot and ankle causing pain and stiffness

Hammertoes: Deformities that cause any of the toes to bend or curl downward instead of pointing forward

Heel spur: A bony protrusion on the underside of the heel bone caused by a calcium deposit

Ingrown toenails: The corner or side of a toenail grows into the skin causing pain, redness and swelling

Nerve pain: Neuropathic pain in the feet is caused by nerve damage, typically as a result of conditions like diabetes or from medication side effects, or injuries.

Plantar fasciitis: Dull or sharp pain at the bottom of the heel or sometimes at the bottom mid-foot area

Warts: An infection of the outer layer of skin caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) that can spread to other areas of the body

Arthroscopy: This surgical technique uses only small openings to examine and repair a joint in the ankle or foot.

Foot and ankle fusion: A surgical procedure in which bones are fused, or connected, with screws to eliminate motion in the foot or ankle. This creates a permanent joining of the bones.

Fracture repair: Serious foot and ankle fractures, or broken bones, need surgery to repair the fracture as well as any ligaments, tendons and muscles that were also damaged.

Surgical Treatment of Bunions, including Lapiplasty procedure: 3D bunion correction same day procedure that corrects the root cause of bunions.

Tendon repair: This procedure is designed to restore a partially or fully torn tendon in the foot or ankle.

Total ankle replacement: This joint replacement operation helps patients with advanced ankle osteoarthritis.
In addition to the non-surgical and surgical management of lower extremity injuries we also specialize in providing consultation and strategies for injury prevention incorporating gait analysis, range of motion and muscle strength testing and the use of custom foot orthotics when indicated.
